HOW CAN CREATE THE PRICE RANGE IN EXCEL 2003?

I WANT TO CREATE THE PRICE RANGE IN EXCEL 2003 WITHOUT USING THE "IF ELSE"
COMBINATION.

SR PRICE RANGE

2 3500
3 4750
4 6000
5 750
6 10000

RANGE SHOULD BE 0-1000, 1001-3000, 3001-5000, 5001- 7500, 7501-10000.

THANKS

HOW CAN CREATE THE PRICE RANGE IN EXCEL 2003?

Do you want this in VBA or formula? what do you want to show for the
range? i.e if the price is 1500 what would you want to display in the
range?

HOW CAN CREATE THE PRICE RANGE IN EXCEL 2003?

Hi Tejas

You can use LOOKUP. Assuming your price is in Col B try the below formula in
C2 and copy down as required..Try and feedback

=LOOKUP(B2,{0,1,1001,3001,5001,7501},{"","0-1000","1001-3000","3001-5000","5001- 7500","7501-10000"})
