Linked spreadsheets created in 2003 but not working in 2007
 

I have a set of spredsheets that linked correctly in 2003 but not that I have
upgraded the only way I can get the data to feed between the two sheets is to
have them both open. iI click enable but they still do not link unless both
are open.

Any suggestions

When the Security Warning Bar appear are you choosing Options, Enable?

Yes. I even go into edit links and then update values and nothing changes
until Iopen up the linked spreadsheet.
