Putting numbers in excel without it changing into a formula?
 

I am trying to set up an excel spreadsheet and it is automatically changing
all my numbers into dates. Ahhh I just want my data values, no formuals
needed. Help please, I'm getting frustrated!!!!!!!

Go to FormatCellNumberwhat ever format you want.
Sounds like your cells are formatted as dates.

If you are inputting fractions, format the cells as ' ?/?@ without the
quotes.

Sorry I meant use '# ?/?' without the quotes and enter numbers as 0 1/2 for
example
