different result with excel and calculator
I'm calculating a loan payment and get different result from Excel &
calculator. Using PMT function for 350,000 at 6% - 30 years = $2,098.43 HP 17bII calc says $1,292.07 -- Who's right? |

Hi mtf,
Since you've got Excel, it's pretty easy to prove which is correct (hint: the HP result isn't). I suspect you've entered a parameter incorrectly into the HP calculator. -- Cheers macropod [Microsoft MVP - Word] "mtf" wrote in message ...
