Convert european foreign date format to US date format
I receive dates in the following format in column:
dd.mm.yyyy I would like to convert the column to read mm/dd/yyy. Any thoughts? |

If they're really dates with that custom format, you could just change the
format of those cells. But if the values in the cells are text, you can select the column Data|Text to columns Fixed width Remove any line that excel guessed and don't add any of your won choose Date (dmy order) And finish up the wizard.
