How to paste phase and seperate into another cell by a symbol of.
I want to be able to paste this into to excel and have it seperate in the
next cell where the = sign is. WEOkToContact04 = yes As in A1 will show WEOkToContact04 and B1 will show yes Is this possible? |
How to paste phase and seperate into another cell by a symbol of.
Assuming there are spaces around the equal sign as you show, then the first
step is to get rid of the space. To do that, select Column A, click Edit/Replace from the menu bar, type <space=<space (using real spaces in place of my two <space place holders) into the "Find what" field, type just a single equal sign in the "Replace with" field and then click the "Replace All" button. Now, with Column A still selected, click Data/TextToColumns from the menu bar, then on the dialog box that appears, select "Delimited" at Step 1, click the "Next" button, then type an = sign into the field marked "Other" and then click the "Finish" button.
