Nearest Month
 

Hi,

Is there a way or formula in the excel to get the ans indicate below Column
G)
Column A is the product.
Column B to D is the month and Qty
Column F is the Qty need.
Column G is the column that I wish to get the month and Qty.
I am trying to nearest and early month to get the ans. by doing that i could
know how longis the lead time for the product.

Jan-09 Feb-09 Mar-09 Apr-09 Qty Ans
A 100 100 o 100 200 Apr(100) Mar(0) Feb(100)
A need 3 month to
get 200
B 100 0 50 100 250 Apr(100) Mar(50) Feb(0)
Jan(100)
B need 4 month to
get 250

Sky,

Try re-wording you question. Saying 'I am trying to nearest and early month
to get the ans.' does not give enough information. What is a 'nearest and
early month'?

month to meet the qty.
For example
