IF Function and pulling data across
Hi would like to find out, what should the formula be like if i wanted to
pull data from cell 1 from worksheet A to worksheet B if data from cell 2 of worksheet A is true. The formula i have so far looks like this. "=IF('A'!F10="X", "'B'!B3='A'!B10'", "") However, the result i get if 'A'!F10="X" is B'!B3='A'!B10'. The alternative to that situation would be to change the formule to "=IF('A'!F10="X", '"B'!B3='A'!B10"', "") However, the result would an error with B10"' portion. Any ideas on where to go from here? Thanks a million in advance! |

Maybe you meant this:
Enter this formula in worksheet B, cell B3: =IF(A!F10="X",A!B10,"") Regards, Stefi €žIvan Koh€ť ezt Ă*rta: Hi would like to find out, what should the formula be like if i wanted to pull data from cell 1 from worksheet A to worksheet B if data from cell 2 of worksheet A is true. Hi Stefi,
Thanks for the reply, but i think you missed out on the '' for the worsksheets. No matter, it works just fine for me now! Thanks Ivan "Stefi" wrote: Maybe you meant this: Enter this formula in worksheet B, cell B3: =IF(A!F10="X",A!B10,"") Regards, Stefi €žIvan Koh€ť ezt Ă*rta: Hi would like to find out, what should the formula be like if i wanted to pull data from cell 1 from worksheet A to worksheet B if data from cell 2 of worksheet A is true. Apostroph (') is not always needed around the worksheet name, only if it
contains spaces. A!F10 and 'A'!F10 are equivalent but A sheet!F10 must be written as 'A sheet'!F10 . You are welcome! Thanks for the feedback! Clicking the YES button will be appreciated.
