I think I should use absolute values to:
 
Copy a sum formula in the below row without affecting the orig value, but
how?? or should I use another function?

If you mean that, should you copy a formula calculating eg the sum of
A10:G10, located in H10, to H11, but you still require the sum of A10:G10,
then yes, you should use =SUM($A$10:$G$10)

I think I should use absolute values to:
 
Edit the same formula and use function key F4 in each range reference to
change the relative reference to absolute reference. Now copy the formula to
any cell..
