Nikki

formula

Level Low High
1 $140,000 $155,000
2 $125,000 $155,000
3 $115,000 $145,000

How do I get a formula to look up a salary of $130,000 within the low and
high range to place the Level "2" into a cell?

Don Guillett

formula

sort
3 115000 145000
2 125000 150000
1 140000 155000

and then just use a vlookup
=VLOOKUP(J1,H1:I3,2)
to get 150,000
