Formula With A Minimum Value

Funds Available £451.78

Capital % Share
£1,478.30 £33.94
£19.00 £0.44
£12,356.78 £283.69
£5,782.23 £132.75
£41.87 £0.96
Total £19,678.18 £451.78

Im on Excel 2007 and have a spreadsheet where cell D5 shows funds of
£451.78 that have to be split in proportion to the 5 Capital amounts in cells
C8 to C12 but with a minimum amount of £1. I get the % Share by dividing the
total in D5 by the Total Capital in C13 and multiplying by the Capital in C8
- $D$5/$C$13*C8 and autofilling down.

Whats the formula to get a minimum of £1 in any % Share cell with the
remaining Available Funds split in proportion to the remaining Capital
amounts?

Formula With A Minimum Value

Here is a shabby little trick:

Pre-assign each of the five one £ to start. Then distribute the remaining
£446.78 to each as you have done.
