Is there a way to increase font size (or change default font type) of
the sheet name?

If you mean the Tabs, you can only set the tab colors

You can change the tab size and by default also change the tab font size but
you don't do it through Excel. You have to change this in the display
properties through your operating system. Also, any change will affect *all*
applications not just Excel. I forget the exact location to make this change
and I don't have time right now to track it down.
