For the INDEX argument, you need to specify a single column. I'm not clear
on whether you can search ranges of mixed sizes the way you have it in your formula. Try this example: {=INDEX(PRX!A1:A111,MATCH(1,(PRX!A1:A111=Reference !J9)*(PRX!C1:C111=Reference!F5)*(PRX!A1:H1=Referen ce!H1),0))} But it might fail because A1:H1 is not the same size as A1:A111. I converted your formula to use a Sumproduct
This part of the formula will return the column of data you want. Index requires an offset which is one less the the value match will return INDEX(PRX!A1:H111,0,MATCH(Reference!K6,PRX!A1:H1,0 )-1) Now the formula above into a sumproduct The formula below is wrong from your oringal formula : PRX!A1:H111 =Sumproduct(--(PRX!A2:A111=Reference!J9),--(PRX!C2:C111=Reference!F5),INDEX(PRX!A1:H111,0,MAT CH(Reference!K6,PRX!A1:H1,0 )-1)) Instead use this formula =Sumproduct(--(PRX!A2:A111=Reference!J9),--(PRX!C2:C111=Reference!F5),INDEX(PRX!A2:H111,0,MAT CH(Reference!K6,PRX!A1:H1,0 )-1)) "Kashyap" wrote: I tried with the below formula as well, but not resired result =INDEX(PRX!A1:H111,MATCH(1,IF(PRX!A2:A111=Referenc e!J9,IF(PRX!C2:C111=Reference!F5,1)),0),MATCH(Refe rence!K6,PRX!A1:H1,0 )) Control+shift+enter I need to index A:H match J9 with A:A match F5 with C:C match H1 with A1:H1 |

Try...
=INDEX(PRX!A1:H111,MATCH(1,IF(PRX!A1:A111=Referenc e!J9,IF(PRX!C1:C111=Ref erence!F5,1)),0),MATCH(Reference!K6,PRX!A1:H1,0 )) ....confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
