Summing minutes and seconds
I want to add minutes and seconds. It is entered into the worksheet as:
3:50 (this represents 3 minutes and 50 seconds) 0:45 (this represent 45 seconds) I've formatted the cells so they are mm:ss If I use a Sum function, it shows 35:00. I'm not sure what this is telling me. It should be 4:35 (4 minutes and 35 seconds). -- Lady |

Although you formatted the first two cells correctly, the data was not
inputted correctly. Input the first time as 0:3:50 and the second time as 0:0:45 Your sum should now work. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "Lady Success" wrote: I want to add minutes and seconds.
