I know my password, yet it will not open my workbook
After entering the data, I set a password for the sheet protection. I copied
and pasted the data in another file because I wanted to email the sheet to another, without them having access to the other worksheets in the workbook. I closed the workbook and when I went to open it again a few minutes later, it would not accept my password. I checked my "caps" key - that isn't the problem. I'd really appreciate your assistance. -- ~GIB |

Don't worry, internal password protection is very weak and easy to break.
See Password http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/removepwords.html for internal passwords, or http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/fileandvbapwords.html for file passwords. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme remove caps from email "GIB" wrote in message ...
