I have asked for the max value to be shown in a colum. How can I ask for the
cell to be auto highlighted.

Select column A then

Conditional FormattingFormaula is: =A1=MAX(A:A)

Format to a color you like.

Hi,

In 2007 highlight the range and choose Home, Conditional Formatting,
Top/Bottom Rules, Top 10 Item, and change 10 to 1...
