Amount with two conditions

How to sum amount for special date & amount's nature (Debit/Credit), example
(Column A) (Column B) (Column C)
Amount Amount's Nature Date
Row 1 1,500 D
Feb 25, 2009
Row 2 300 C
Dec 31, 2009
Row 3 150 D
Feb 28, 2009
I want only February Balance (D-C=1500-150) in one cell or Debit Amount in a
cell & Credit in diff' one.
Which function I should use, the conditions are Date & Amount Nature
Please help me.
