How do I paste in sorted area?

I sort the column (from drop-down list) and what omits some cells in that
column. Then I want to paste something into that sorted area (except from
omitted cells) but the program pastes it also in these omitted cells not in
the sorted area that I wanted; I.E. if sorting hid rows 3-to-9, when I'm
pasting certain data, it's being paste also in those rows 3-9.

Hello Julcia,
Try to past them by right-click "Insert Copied Cells"

Sorting does not hide rows.

Filtering hides rows.

F5SpecialVisible cells only.

Paste onto those cells.

Thank You, it's been helpful hint, however I'm still experiencing little
problem: after filtering I have 14 cells in a column and 14 copied cells to
paste and when I'm doing this (with F5-Special-Visible Cells Only) it still
says "copy area and paste area are not the same size".

Please disregard "paste onto those cells"

Having a nap.

I don't remember how to paste onto visible cells only.
