How do I create a list that will copy the entire row?
I need to create a list that will copy all data that is linked to it (from a
row). I have been able to create a list but only to a column. |

If you enter this formula in A1 of Sheet1
=INDIRECT("Sheet2!R1C" & ROW(),FALSE) and copy down column A (to A2, A3, ...) then you will get the values of row 1 of Sheet2.... Is that what you want? If you just want to copy the values in row 1 of Sheet2 then you can copy it and choose paste special-Transpose after right-clicking in A1 of Sheet1 -- -------- If this is what you wanted then press the ''''YES'''' button (if you see it) "Wifey" wrote: I need to create a list that will copy all data that is linked to it (from a row). Hi,
It is not clear exactly what you want. But suppose you want to take the entries from sheet2 row 1 and put them in a column on sheet1. Enter the following formula in cell A1 and copy it down as far as needed: =OFFSET(Sheet2!A$1,,ROW()-1) or you can array enter this formula: =TRANSPOSE(Sheet2!1:1) To do this one select a range of the size you need in Sheet1 Column A, Say A1:A20. Type the formula but don't press enter, instead press Shift+Ctrl+Enter. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button.
