Prevent refresh in certainpivot tables in workbook

Can I selectively freeze, and refresh multiple pivot tables on a
worksheet, based on the same source data?

I didn't think so, but maybe someone has a good mousetrap to
accomplish this.

Excel 2007
If multiple PTs have Table1 as a source,
convert Table1 to a range and give the table range,
including headers, multiple defined names, such as
ArrayA, ArrayB, etc. Assign these names to the different
PTs as data sources. This will also unlink the PTs for
grouping purposes.
After recreating Table1, the defined names will stay dynamic.
In the Name Manager, edit the names to ArrayX, ArrayY, etc.
When trying to refresh, "Reference not valid" will appear.

Thats very clever. Thank you Herbert. I'll have a gander at it.
