Formula help - rounding up and round down?
Hi,
Please show us some examples. Do you want to round up or down? Do you want to round to the nearest 0, .3 or .7? Are these separate conditions, or are they all to be applied at the same time? Notice that rounding up is not the same as rounding to the nearest. Here are some of the functions that can be used to round in Excel MROUND ROUNDUP ROUNDDOWN ROUND FLOOR CEILING a few examples would clarify things. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "0greeny0" wrote: Can anyone help me with working out a formula which automatically rounds data up or down? They would be applied at the same time. I would have a group of figures, e.g.
4.7, 3.7, 5.3, 6.0, which are then averaged. Some of the averages are not .0, ..3 or .7 and i need to round the figure to the closet one. Currently i am working through them manually changing them.
