My current formulas in documents have quit working

When I make a change in a column that needs to be calculated, excel is not
updating the formulas, subtotals, or totals, etc.

Also, you can enter a formula and then click and drag the formula to do a
copy. If you click in the cells you copied the formula to, the formula is
there in each cell, but it doesn't work.

Could I possibly have a virus in just excel? All of my documents have been
effected. Even if I create a NEW document, I have the same issues with
formulas!
