vlookup not updating from external workbook

I have been using the vlookup function for over 2 months to pull information
to a sheet from 3 different external workbooks and it was updating instantly
when I input information on the external worksheets. However, since
upgrading to Excel 07 it has not been updating that information. I have
upconverted all of the files to the 07 program, I have completely created a
new worksheet and yet it does not update. The formulas (i.e.
=VLOOKUP($B7,'[2733.xlsx]2733-FAB1'!$A$2:$B$65,2,FALSE) ) show up fine in the
cells, and when I click on the fx button where the formula shows, the formula
appears in the box and I click enter then the formula will update. I have
tried Refreshing All in the Data tab....I've checked online help, watched the
video, I'm out of ideas...please help

Do you have calculation set for manual or automatic?
