if A1 and A2 are less than A3 color A3 blue or if
they are the same color them red? Need some clarification... If what cells are the same? Color which cell(s) red? If all 3 cells are the same color all 3 cells red? -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "Cass" wrote in message ... Select cell A3 and click on Format | Conditonal Formatting. In the pop-
up you should select Formula Is rather than Cell Value Is in the first box, and enter this formula in the next box: =A3(A1+A2) Then click on the Format button, choose the Patterns tab (for background colour) and choose blue. Click OK once, then click Add to set up your second condition. Again select Formula Is, and use this formula: =A3=(A1+A2) Click the format button and choose a red background. Click OK twice to exit the dialogue box. Hope this helps.
