How do i copy multiple cells (e.g. 4) and Paste SpecialValues into another
4-cell set?

When i try the 'normal way' i get the value of the 1st cell only and
generally zeros or some other values that do not correspond to cells 2-4

Do you select all 4 cells before copying? If only first cell is copied, maybe
you missed to select the rest of cells.
