Date Value Funtion in Excel 2003 returns an error, but not in Exce
 

I have a Date Value funtion that returns a #Value error. The strange thing
is that with this same file it does not happen in Excel 2002. The values
come through in this version. I have service pack 1 installed for Office
2003, as it did have several fixes for other Date function problems, but this
one still persists.

Has anyone had this problem yet?

is it possible that you have tools / options / calculation - 1904 date
system ticked?
if not could you copy & paste an example of the datevalue function you're
having a problem with?
