Pivot and count question.

Hello,
I have the following pivot table with Row column being State Name and
county Name with Population as Data. How would I be able to count the
number of county name in each state? My main grid has the name of
each of these members with the state and county.

State Name County Name Population
New York Kings 1.1 mil
Queens 1.2 mil
Bronx 2.1 mil
Richmond .5 mil
New York Total 4.9 mil

New Jersey Bergen 3.5 mil
Elizabeth .58 mil
New Jersey Total 4.08 mil

Texas

Right click on Pivot Table, Show Field list. Drag "County Name" Over into the
data area. (should not be in both the row and data areas). Right click, field

That will give me the number of times that county shows up and that
county name is being repeated for each member. I only want the unique
count of the number of county in New York. In my example, it would be
4, for NJ it would be 2. I hope my explanation is clear.
