what formula will count cells that contain any randmon data
text number, just basicly it will return a count for a range of cell
that are not empty

Sounds like you want the COUNTA function...

=COUNTA(C3:D500)

Just set the range reference as needed.

nope, that counted the range.

I would like someithing that only counts the cells in the range that have
data and does not count the empty cells
