Cell Formatting
Why does formatting appear in my worksheet cells that I did not put in there?
I have inserted columns in areas where there was formatting and it appears that this formatting is carried over from the previous column, but when I try to clear the formatting it continues to appear in any new entry. Therefore; I have to clear the formatting everytime I enter new data. |

One thing to try is:
Tools Options... Edit and clear the Extend data range formats checkbox -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200828 "Clare" wrote: Why does formatting appear in my worksheet cells that I did not put in there?
