how do i link data from closed worksheets without vlookup.
Dear Friends,
In my line of work, i have to get data from 2500(variable huge number) sheets on to a single sheet. The name of the sheets are formula based, and formatted the same way(auto generated), and so its easy for me to create a direct link to the cells via formula. But it creates the problem that formula won't update(press f2 and then 'enter'). I cannot open so many files for the formula to update(so i can't use Indirect). I cannot use vlookup. kindly help. all the usual stuff i read was for getting too much data from limited sources. Here the issue is that i have to get little data from too many sources. HELP! (i also can't write VB codes) |
