bullet points
Could you please advise how to insert a bullet point (solid black dot) in

Depends on the font you want to use. Here's an example using Arial:
1)Set the font for a cell to Arial. 2)InsertSymbol 3)Font: Arial 4)In the 8th row of the grid, on the far left, is a bullet point. 5)Select it. Note that the Character Code at the bottom of the screen is 149. 6)Cancel Now, select the formula bar then: Hold down the [Alt] key and type 0149 Release the [Alt] key and the bullet point will appear.
