sheet name HELP PLEASE

Hi I am looking to see if it's possible to take a name from one sheet once
typed in it autopopulates on another sheet. For example on Sheet 1 (Sunday)
on A4 I type in the name of the employee that worked on the sunday. Then I
have every other day of the week. Finally i have the weekly Summary and I
want the name that I type in A4 to autopopulate on a cell on Weekly Summary.
Does this make sense? Is it even possible? Help me... PLEASE!!! Mandy :)

Are your sheet names named by the days of the week? If so, then lets assume
you have the word "Sunday" in cell A3, Monday in B3, etc.
In A4
=INDIRECT("'"&A$3&"'!A4")
Copying this across would give you that value from each sheet (sunday
through monday), cell A4.

the simpler method would be to have
='Sunday'!A4 in one of the cells in your summary sheet.

yes my Sheets are named the days of the week so i have 8 sheets on this file
one for each day of the week and another for the summary of the week. Now we
dont always have the same employees working for us every week it constantly
changes. So like this week Homer Simpson worked for us. So on sheet1(Sunday)
I go to cell A4 and I type in Homer Simpson. On my weekly summary I want it
to automatically show Homer simpsons name on cell number A5. Is that this
formula that you provided?
