countif symbols
 

I would like to write a countif if statment that returns a count that is
greater than a count in a specific cell. I have found the following info,
but cannot find the symbol necessary. It looks something like a backwards 3
with a t on it - 3t. any suggestions? Formula would be:
=countif(data,""3tA1) where A1=my cell reference and 3t= the symbol I am
seeking.

Which, depending upon font, looks different on the keyboard (shift-7).
