Default Copy and Paste

When I go to paste special I get a list of different formats to paste the
information in. I need the list where I can choose to paste cell formating
only, or formulas only, or values only. I can't figure out how to change the
list that I get when I want to paste special. Please if anyone knows how to
help me I would really appreciate it.

Hi Talitha

Maybe ?

If you open Excel two times and want to copy between them you not get the dialog that you want to see.
Open Excel one time and open more then one workbook in this Excel program

Default Copy and Paste

What is the source of the copy?

Another application or another Excel workbook?

If another workbook, sounds like you have two instances of Excel running
with a workbook in each.

The two instances won't communicate so you don't get the regular Paste
Special dialog.

Close down one instance and open both workbooks in the one instance of
Excel.

If another application, that is normal behaviour and cannot be changed.
