Large Number Question
If I have a cell formated as number it displays large numbers weird.
Say I enter this value into a number formatted cell : 11111111111111111111111111, after I press enter to commit the value it changes to this : 11111111111111100000000000. How can I get that cell to display the large number correctly? |
Large Number Question
Excel only works with 15-digit precision (see Specifications in Excel
Help). To retain more digits you must enter that number as text - either pre-format the cell as Text before you type it in, or put an apostrophe in front of it as you type it in. Hope this helps.
