Default How do I freeze column names to view when scrolling?

When I do this in Cell A1 it freezes rows 1 through 16. I only want to freeze
row 1. Please advise. Thanks

Hi Tom

click in the first cell under your titles (ie A2) choose window / freeze
panes
use window / unfreeze panes to remove

you can also freeze columns & rows at the same time - click underneath & to
the right of what you want to stay "frozen" and then use the window / freeze
panes menu option.

Cheers

I have created some large lists on a spreadsheet. I would like the titles
of
the columns to stay in view as I scroll down but cannot find how to do
this.
