Formulas calculate the answer wrongly as 0
Hi
I have a spreadsheet with some very simple formulas such as =cell+cell or =SUM(cell:cell) which was working fine. However the formulas have started to equal 0 after I have double clicked on a cell containing a formula or when I know enter a new formula. I assume this has something to do with formatting but have checked the basics such as automatic under the Tools and calculation tab. I'm sure the answer is simple but I just can't work it out! Any ideas? |

Several things to check:
1. Tools Options Calculation Automatic 2. For something like =SUM(A1:A2) make sure A1 and A2 are Numbers and not Text. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200818 "Mary P" wrote: Hi I have a spreadsheet with some very simple formulas such as =cell+cell or =SUM(cell:cell) which was working fine.
