Hi

Is there a way to apply a cell format so that any keyed character returns a
This is U+25CF in Character Map.

I am counting dots in an Astrogical model.

Not EXACTLY what you want but...
In A1 put your text.
In B1 put this formula...
=REPT(CHAR(149),LEN(A1))
