Vlookup help with function
 

I need to perform the following lookup and comparison: On sheet 1, if content
in a1:a700 AND content of b1:b700 AND content of c1:b700 matches exactly to
Sheet 2, content in a1:a700 AND content of b1:b700 AND content of c1:b700,
then return value in d1:d700 from sheet 2, if no match, return 0 (zero).

I'm presuming you had a typo for: c1:b700
ie its meant as: c1:c700

In Sheet1,
Put in D1, normal ENTER:
=IF(ISNA(MATCH(1,INDEX((Sheet2!$A$1:$A$700=A1)*(Sh eet2!$B$1:$B$700=B1)*(Sheet2!$C$1:$C$700=C1),),0)) ,0,INDEX(Sheet2!$D$1:$D$700,MATCH(1,INDEX((Sheet2! $A$1:$A$700=A1)*(Sheet2!$B$1:$B$700=B1)*(Sheet2!$C $1:$C$700=C1),),0)))
Copy D1 down as far as required
