Mr. G.

Unhiding rows using data validation

Is it possible to incorporate a macro/formula into a cell (on a protected
worksheet) that contains a drop down menu (via data validation) that would
unhide a specific row everytime a User populates a particuar cell.
Currently, a section of my worksheet displays the category "Other" in a
protected cell (E55) and puts a drop down menu in cell F56. Meanwhle, rows
57 thru 67 (which also contain drop down menus in column F) are hidden. I'd
like for each of these hidden rows to become automatically available,
depending on whether or not the User populates a visalbe cell. For example,
if the User populates cell F56 (via drop down menu or manual entry), I'd like
for the following row (57) to become unhidden for utilization. If the User
needs to populate cell F57, I'd like for following row 58 to become unhidden
.. . . and so on.

Moreover, since this worksheet is tied to a hidden worksheet that is
eventually printed upon activating a macro from the User's worksheet, I'd
like for these rows to unhide or remain hidden, accordingly.

Basically, I'm trying to minimize the amount of rows appearing on the
screen, thus eliminating blank rows until needed.
