How to sort and export just email addresses in a mixed column
 

I have a column that has a mixture of email addresses and other stuff in it.
I want to sort it to show just the email addresses and then export them. How
can I do that? Thx.

How about an alternative?

Instead of sorting, you can use an Autofilter.

Select the column
Data|Filter|Autofilter (in xl2003 menus)

Use a custom filter
Contains: @

And then copy the visible rows and paste where you want.

(and remove the filter.

If all the rows (visible and hidden) get pasted, then add another step after
applying the custom filter (contains @).

Select the range to copy
F5 (edit|goto)|Special|visible cells only
Then do the Copy|paste.
