Hi,
On the assumption that , is your decimal seperator then its doing precisely what your telling it to do and displaying 4 decimal places. What would you like it to do? Mike "hadron" wrote: cell is formated 0,0000 but when I write 2,111 result is 2111,0000 - why? |

Hi,
When I use that number format, the result I see is 02,111 - anyways I guess this is because of the Windows Number setting. What result do you see if you replace the 0's with # -- Regards, Ashish Mathur Microsoft Excel MVP www.ashishmathur.com "hadron" wrote in message ... cell is formated 0,0000 but when I write 2,111 result is 2111,0000 - why? |
