I have five consecutive cells in a row containing numeric values which I wish
to be summed up as a total in a sixth cell. I only want to add up those which are above a certain value and ignore (but show in the cells) those which are below the certain value. tia -- Jock Waddington |

Assuming, for example, you want to sum up cells whose value is greater
than 5, try... =SUMIF(A1:A5,"5") or =SUMIF(A1:A5,""&B1) ....where B1 contains the number 5. Hope this helps! Use
=SUMIF(range of cells, "3") - replacing 3 with whatever your threshold is "Jock W" wrote: I have five consecutive cells in a row containing numeric values which I wish to be summed up as a total in a sixth cell.
