Hi,

What does that function do? In the English version of Excel not such
function exists, and there is only one function the has a period in the name.

I suspect that this is part of an Add-in, and the add-in is not attached.
Try Tools, Add-ins, and see if there is an add-in that rings a bell for you
that is not checked.
If so check it.

That is the NETWORKDAYS function, so you need to have the Analysis Toolpak
addin installed.

Hi Bob,

Are there lots of function in the Spanish version that take this unusual
notation?

Hi Walter,

What Bob is saying is choose Tools, Add-ins, and put a check beside Analysis
ToolPak.
There are about 100 spreadsheet function in this add-in, many very useful in
my opinion, but you do need to attach the add in to use them. Keep in mind,
if you send the file to someone else they will get a NAME error message (I
don't know what it is in Spanish) if they don't attach the add in also.
In 2007 these functions are built into Excel but you still need to attach
the add in if you want to use the Data Analysis command.
