everytime i type a phone number in a cell the zero dissapears, how do i stop

Mike H is right.
Phone numbers aren't really numbers, as you'll never perform calculations on them. Same with Zip Codes. Treat them as text, with either an apostrophe, or format the cells as text. Another way is to do a custom format
either 000-0000 or (000) 000-0000 One way to find custom format is right click (the mouse) on a cell go to format cell -number format - custom -- Wag more, bark less "stosh" wrote: everytime i type a phone number in a cell the zero dissapears, how do i stop this from happening. many thanks in advance |
