Grouping in Pivot Tables
Hi
Please help! I have a selection of data pulled down into a sheet using an ODBC connection. Great! I use this data to create different pivot tables in other worksheets (in the same workbook). However when I apply grouping levels on pivot table it applies to the other pivot tables in a different work sheet. It is so ANNOYING! Can anyone please tell me how I can prevent this? Thanks |
Grouping in Pivot Tables
If you base other pivot tables on an existing pivot table, any grouping
will be applied to all the connected pivot tables. To prevent this you can create another pivot table based on the original source data. It will be independent of the other pivot tables, and won't be affected by any grouping. Bunji wrote: Hi Please help! I have a selection of data pulled down into a sheet using an ODBC connection.
