Subtotalling
I am trying to subtotal multiple groups within a list, e.g. I would like to
subtotal sales by Product within Customers within Sales Rep. However, the Subtotal function only works for 1 subtotal group; if I start subtotalling more than 1 group, it goes carzy when inserting new subtotal groups and drops out some records randomly. Example: Group by Sales rep: no problem Group by Customers within sales rep: the check box for Summary below data "greys out" if I do NOT choose to Replace Current Subtotals; and the subtotal result is incorrect because some records belong to the same custome within the same rep are "dropped OUTSIDE" of the subtotal. |
Subtotalling
Hi,
I've not had this problem. But 1. You must sort by all groupings you want to subtotal by. So you would sort by Sales Rep, Customer, Product before you start the subtotal command. 2. You can send me a sample the reproduces this problem and I will look at it. -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "Delamgbc" wrote: I am trying to subtotal multiple groups within a list, e.g. I would like to subtotal sales by Product within Customers within Sales Rep.
