How to change all cells from minus to plus and plus to minus
 

Hi all, I have Excel 2007
How can I change from -to plus in a worksheet

The cells have now negative and I want all to be positive, how to do it?

-214 683 -384 454
want to change to
A1 A2 A3 A4
214 -683 384 -454

How to Change Signs of Cells in Excel

To change the signs of cells in Excel, follow these steps:

1. Select the range of cells that you want to change the signs of.
2. Right-click on the selected cells and choose "Copy" or press "Ctrl+C" on your keyboard.
3. Right-click on a blank cell where you want to paste the values and choose "Paste Special" or press "Ctrl+Alt+V" on your keyboard.
4. In the "Paste Special" dialog box, check the box next to "Values" and then check the box next to "Multiply" under "Operations".
5. In the "Multiply" box, enter
   Code:

   ---

   -1

   ---

   and click "OK".

This will multiply all the values in the selected range by -1, effectively changing all the minus signs to plus signs and vice versa.

Put -1 in a cell and copy it.

Select your numbers then
Edit|Paste special
Select Multiply
Click OK

Delete the cell with -1 in

I just noticed Excel 2007. The menu structure may be different but the method
will be the same
