Formatting problem

When I change the font for all cells in a worksheet, save & close, Excel
(2003) will display the original font size and all cells in bold type when
it's reopened. Why does it do this, and how do I fix it?

Formatting problem

create a new workbook,
and copy and paste special to this new one as Values only. then reformat the
way u like in the new one.
hope this works;

Does this occur with every worksheet in the workbook or just the one?

You have any event code in the worksheet that would accomplish this?

Right-click on the sheet tab and "View Code". Anything there?

Right-click on the Excel Icon left of "File" and "View Code". Anything
there?

This particular workbook only has one worksheet, and it only happens on this
specific project. The previous reply from Raz solved the problem. The sheet
that is the problem is automatically generated from an ERP system & emailed
to me daily; evidently there's something in the formatting of the spreadsheet
as it's emailed that makes it necessary to copy to a new workbook in order to
remove unwanted formatting.

To answer your other questions, I checked for any code, as you said, and
both came up blank.

Thanks a lot for your help. Even if I don't know exactly what's causing the
problem, at least I know how to fix it!

Thanks again,
tadly
