Hi,
If you need to do calculations with imaginary number in Excel you need to use the Analysis ToolPak, it contains a whole collection of functions for working with them. To add the ATP to Excel 2003 or earlier choose Tools, Add-ins and put a check beside Analysis ToolPak. The functions will then be in the Function Wizard and they start with the letters IMA. To see how these work and the correct way to put them in the spreadsheet, pick any one of them and choose Help on this functions. -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "curtz" wrote: i have to create a worksheet that requires the use of imaginary numbers calculating inductive reactance and capacitive reactance |
